Fountains

Ice Cream

Ice cream is a summer favorite with both people and pups. You don’t want to give Fido your ice cream, though: it’s got too much fat and sugar for him, and may contain things that just aren’t safe for him, such as chocolate. You can find doggy ice cream in many pet stores, or you can make your own. Just stick with pet-safe ingredients. Splashing Pools

If Fido enjoys swimming, and you have a safe place to take him, then by all means indulge him. Otherwise, consider getting him a kiddie pool to splash around in.

Schedule Change

As the dog days of summer approach, you may want to adjust your canine buddy’s schedule a bit. Walk and play with him in the mornings and evenings, when it’s cooler out.
